Reviewer Guidelines

The journal recognizes peer review as a fundamental component of maintaining scholarly excellence, research integrity, and academic credibility. Reviewers play a critical role in evaluating the intellectual quality, originality, and significance of submitted manuscripts. Reviewers are expected to provide rigorous, fair, and constructive assessments that assist editors in making informed publication decisions while helping authors improve the clarity, quality, and contribution of their work.

Role of Reviewers

Reviewers should critically evaluate manuscripts based on their originality, research significance, theoretical contribution, methodological rigor, analytical quality, accuracy of interpretation, and overall presentation. Reviews should assess whether the manuscript provides meaningful advancement to existing knowledge, demonstrates appropriate research design, and offers valuable theoretical, empirical, or practical implications within its field.

Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers must maintain strict confidentiality throughout the review process and should not disclose, discuss, or use any information obtained from submitted manuscripts for personal or professional advantage. Reviews should be conducted objectively, independently, and without personal bias. Reviewers are expected to identify methodological limitations, evaluate the validity of arguments and evidence, recommend constructive improvements, and provide clear justification for their evaluations.
Reviewers must also disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may affect their ability to provide an impartial assessment. Individuals with personal, professional, financial, or academic relationships with the authors or the research that may compromise objectivity should decline the review invitation.

Reviewer Evaluation Criteria

Reviewers should consider several key dimensions when assessing manuscript quality. Novelty and Originality should be evaluated by determining whether the manuscript presents new insights, innovative approaches, or meaningful extensions of existing knowledge. Scientific and Methodological Quality should assess whether the research design, data collection procedures, analytical methods, and interpretations are appropriate, rigorous, and clearly explained.
Theoretical and Scholarly Contribution should examine whether the study advances theoretical understanding, addresses important research gaps, or contributes significantly to the relevant discipline. Presentation Quality should consider the clarity, coherence, organization, and academic quality of the manuscript. References and Scholarly Positioning should evaluate whether the manuscript engages with relevant, current, and high-quality literature and appropriately situates the research within existing academic discussions.
Reviewers are encouraged to provide detailed comments that highlight both strengths and areas requiring improvement. Their evaluations should support the journal’s commitment to publishing research that demonstrates academic excellence, integrity, and substantial contribution to global scholarly communities.
